I have little to no hope in this world. I have several loved ones that make me love spending time with them. But even the best possible situation this world seems to offer me doesn’t seem like it’s everything I want it to be. I’ve always thought the answer was heaven. I’ve always thought that heaven was out there waiting on us to go there. I’ve even thought that heaven even comes here. Heaven invades this world and changes it to what I see as being everything it should be. But the more I saw from that lens, the more I realized that even at its best, this world doesn’t really give me the place where I can be satisfied with what I see as possible.
I’ve changed this world, I really have. But even with all the change I have done and seen others change too, some things just don’t change. So my mission is to leave behind all things that don’t change or refuse to change as I go to a place where change to eternal good is the standard. My question isn’t really on who to bring or what to leave, but rather, where to go. Where is complete freedom? Where is the fulfillment of all desires?
If there is no place where this exists, then I don’t see there being anything that can claim to be wholly good. Something that is good creates things that are also good when all limitations and restrictions are non existent. Working to complete that good is unifying and mutually beneficial so long as the presence of evil is not accepted as beneficial. Glorifying evil as the reason for unity is not really unity, it’s simply a facade. Real union comes from love that reconciles, redeems, restores, forgives, and draws closer. Having a common enemy doesn’t create a place of heaven. Heaven is created when union reaches a place of complete freedom. My personal belief is that the Garden was good but it wasn’t heaven because there was still a presence of evil in the midst of all that good. I believe that the promise of heaven and eternal life is that every hint of evil is not present or even a choice. The eternal choice to have life fully is an eternal reward. There is no going back or switching teams once the judgment has happened. Each judgment is final and there are no mistakes on someone being misjudged. So I would say heaven is the place where love is perfectly unified and given absolute freedom, which I believe has zero limitation on where because it’s everywhere.
